Lovely little breakfast spot located on the trendy Northcross Road. On weekends, you may have to navigate through the crowds of affluent Dulwich mothers with their large prams and noisy children, but once inside, you'll find that the breakfast is actually quite good. View all feedback.
What LondonBallerina doesn't like about The Blue Mountain Cafe:
This used to be our favorite cafe in East Dulwich, but it seems like they have become complacent. We won't be returning, as there are plenty of other great places to choose from. It's a shame to see a once good restaurant settle for being just average. View all feedback.
Enjoyed lunch and a decent pot of tea. Nice vibe friendly and quirky. Good food and couldn't fault the service. Will call in again
Blue Mountain cafe is one of my favourite places in East Dulwich. I absolutely love the food. It's always delicious and full of flavour. I highly recommend :
This Cafe is really nice for going for a coffee or having a drink outside in their garden area, it's very quaint and nice to sit and have a hot drink. For food however, it is really average, especially for the price, they charge you 45p for beans when you order an english breakfast, and they come COLD. for breakfast or lunch on the same road, i'd recommend Duck Egg Cafe instead (better prices, better quality, great eggs) it's literally opposite! i'm more disappointed by the price blue mountain charge for their really average food will go again. (for coffee)
I would recommend for takeaway.Me and my husband ordered the salt fish patties and chicken wings to start, curried goat for mains and the lemon tart for pudding with some ginger beers. Couldn't fault it. Well made and spiced, the meat was incredibly tender and the dishes weren't at all greasy. I wasn't left with the horrible feeling I usually get after takeaways! The packaging was lovely, little brown cardboard boxes. I would deffo order again.
