Can't recommend enough the service standards we received were excellent, whilst choosing our wedding cake. The cake itself was a piece of art and the taste was amazing we will always return here for special occasions. Thank you to all at Bake and Cake Steve and Mary: View all feedback.
What Kartik K doesn't like about Mumbai:
Extremely appalled at what they are calling Indian food. I have never seen Indian food abused so much. The owner really needs to actually take a trip to India and find what Indian food actually is. How can one add coconut to butter chicken? View all feedback.
Surprised that this restauarant has positive reviews. In summary: poor food preparation, pricey, Not Indian restaurant but Bangladeshi (surprised there is nothing in Trade Desc. Act about this sort of thing). Suggest you try Simply Indian on Tabbard Street near Borough station. Better food and more authentic too and you can take your own wine beers too. FIRST FOREMOST this is not an Indian restaurant and NO connection to Mumbai (Bombay). It is a Bangladeshi restaurant (this is like calling French Cuisine as English). Ordered a Dansak dish (a common popular dish all over UK) which is supposed to have Lentils as primary ingredient made a comment and was told rudely by the owner (1) What is Lentils ? as restaurateur I thought he would know LOL (2) and this is a good one: He then claimed that the Lentils had dissolved !!!! Thats probably a good magic trick at best. Got the order wrong. And to pay £6.00 for one mango lassi is very Pricey
Had a beautiful meal with my daughter this evening! Service was friendly, welcoming on point. Food was amazing as always! Usually have it from here takeaway which never disappoints but was extra special not having to wash up.

Best curry I’ve had in a long time! Great service and nice restaurant too.
So so good. The food had so much depth of flavor. The service was great! Would definitely recommend.
