Gold Nugget Truck Stop

Driven past a few times but pulled in a few nights ago, so glad I did. Place is very clean good service with the options to dine inside or out. Ordered the rissoles with veggies and and gravy....omg awesome. Very tasty good portion quick and hot, what more do you need.

Absolutely fantastic meals, never leave there without being full. Staff are always kind, courteous very friendly. Doesn't matter if you are a Gympie local or passing thru, everyone is always welcome.

Best roadhouse/rest stop I’ve been to! Definitely stop for lunch/meal. The burgers and excellent. Coffee was perfect. “Log cabin” dining room is such a nice touch. It’s great to be able to support a business that isn’t just another boring service station.

Went there once when it was not busy. Lovely log cabin style located next to a paddock with cows. Good food and coffee for decent prices. The staff are lovely. They also have reserved seats and free MYO tea and coffee for truck drivers, which is very thoughtful.

Every time we go past this location (Either direction) we always make sure to look for the offramp to get to this place. They do fantastic coffee, the most amazing chips and wedges, great meals, and their gas prices are good too. This is a classic truck stop so no matter what you are driving, this is the perfect place to stop for a break, and get a recharge. As a bonus, if you are towing a van, they have a trailer park right next door !
