This is a beautiful spot to kick off your evening, located in the heart of the Albert Road and Elm Grove areas. There are three billiard tables, and they're often available for play earlier in the day. View all feedback.
What Qype User (madamc… doesn't like about The One Eyed Dog:
This pub is a decent spot during the day. The Dog features a well-stocked bar and plenty of seating options. There are also two pool tables that are quite affordable to use. The drink prices are reasonable, and it's connected to The Duck next door, which serves real ale. My only issue with this place is that it tends to cater mainly to students, making it difficult to enjoy a quiet drink in the evenings. View all feedback.
Loved coming here, it is dog friendly. It wasn't overly busy and it was nice to play pool in here with no rush. The place was clean and tidy , the drinks were also reasonably Priced. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for you
I went here for a social event with society, the atmosphere was incredible the bar staff were friendly, especially Natalia, Marcela, and Diana. There was good music and able to play pool. Overall had a great experience and would defiantly go again.
Haven't been there in years great to see its still going . Chilled vibe chilled people
Looking for a late night bar on saturday was the only without a queue, paid £6 to get in not sure why, but once in realised why, it was full of youngsters.did i feel old yes. Security were funny on the door too. Just not my cup if tea but if your 18 this is the place for you, not for over 35s lol
Good bar all round! 1 or 2 relatively crafty taps. Better and chiller on week nights, on weekends there is an entry fee, and can be very hard to get a drink!
