Reef Seafood Sushi - Southport

If you want fresh seafood on your plate and in your sushi roles, go safely here. The rolls are beautiful looking and the taste is wonderful. If you are looking for low cost, go somewhere else. We all enjoyed the meal and the service was quick and helpful. This was a special occasion, so we tried many of the different offers. Highlights were the Tempra Prawns with vegetables, Miso Scollops $17.00 for 3 Ouch! and the many species of seafood rolls per $10.00)

Reef Seafood Sushi offers a wide variety of fresh and cooked to order seafood. Also has a selection of Sushi to choose from. Located within the Brickworks between Ferry Road and Warehouse Road Southport. Quality is high as are the prices. Had the Crab Sandwich, which was quite good.

I had lunch here with my husband yesterday and we ordered fish burger, large bento(on photo) and crumbed oysters with two miso and extra 2 natural oysters and everything is $75. Sashimi is good and so fresh as well as the oysters but I think it is well overpriced especially they served with chicken sushi and plain tuna sushi which I dont like. One of my favourite place is Donto Sapporo for their sushi and for $75 you can definitely be served more than what I have ordered from this place. I will still come back but will order something different. I like it's location but too windy and cold to seat in front of the shop.

Very bad service. Me And my friends went there with kids. We were told that few of foods were sold out so we only ordered few sushi for kids. Then we have to get something else from other shop. One guy looks like the manager or the one in charge came to us few times trying to kick us out, he was very rude and said we should seat in the park. What in the world! We explained that we have to sit with our kids and the point is we bought food from them. How bad is this experience! We are local and live nearby, hope people see this and take it as a warning!

Absolutely disgusting customer service here. Asked to leave as you were not allowed to sit at their tables with takeaway food (from their own shop) that we spent a substantial amount of money on, my choice I get that. Where else does that happen? If I buy a coffee in a takeaway cup then sit at the same cafe who I purchased off only to be then asked to leave because I’m not having dine in makes absolutely no sense. But this is what this overpriced establishment does to its customers. Icing on the cake? Getting told that we can then dine if we get a plate. Sure, no problem I said. I asked politely for a plate to be told oh no no you need to go up and get it yourself. Amazing product seriously overpriced though. But, to be fair the fish is beautiful quality. But the service?? Wow. Seriously lacking.
