Curries R Us - Southport

Loved this place. Food was fresh and place was very clean. Ordered butter chicken and rogan josh and bith were amazing! Garlic naan was perfect and came in big serves.

Large meal of 2 curry choices & rice = $7.50 but ask for no rice & get told no we don't do that, you instead are charged $12.50 to have same size meal & only 1 curry choice. Boss of restaurant said no would not do a meal with no rice. I explained I don't want more than the normal 2 scoops of curry just no rice. I have not eaten rice for over 1 year now, & lost 40kg, and never been treated so rudely.Will never return after feeling humiliated.

Was there for lunch and tried their Kashmiri lamb and rice (deal) also had Samosas on side, the curry was the worst I have ever had, it was just watery, bland, no seasoning or taste what so ever and was full of yoghurt , could taste the yoghurt more over the curry, the rice was dry, also the samosas were bland and tasteless. Never ever going back again.

I had visited this place twice and both times I was disappointed with the food. I think that the food prices are a little on the higher side, for the kind/quantity of food they are serving. I had been there with a friend of mine and she has some complaint about the "nan" and asked for it to be changed. They changed it alright, but seemed reluctant in doing that. This really stood out for me as I thought that they will be gracious enough to accept their mistake and will change it with a smile.Sorry. I am not visiting again.

Great quick Indian take away or eat in. Great variety to choose from. Excellent Naan. Really friendly. We were impressed.
