We had a great time at this restaurant! The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend San Felipe Mexican Restaurant to anyone visiting South Port, NC. I tried the arroz con camarones, which had delicious grilled shrimp and zucchini on a bed of rice with a creamy sauce. Yum! Jay had the steak and shrimp fajitas, which were also very tasty! Restaurant review for san felipe restaurante mexicano by oi cuisine commando. when to visit: lunch and dinner seven days a week.type of food: Mexican environment: dark forested southwest with a hauch from the beach so corona, dos equus and margaritas spoken here. the separate lunch menu can quickly get in and out. drinks and food specialties come daily and are displayed in the rule on a banner outside the building. this is one of several restaurants of the same name in north carolina. as such they have the standard Mexican tariff of tacos, burritos, chimichangas and deceive. most Americans would like the offers as they were against the slightly spiced. I prefer even more flavoring, so they ask for a bottle of hot sauce. child alternatives will become the Mexican options of taco and burrito, quesadilla with fries, and chicken nuggets.Different dividend: mexican is a nice break from the beach tariff, although technical san felipe is in southport and not oak island. it is on long beach road. Currently there is no Mexican restaurant on oak Island.Service: many amigos on the personal, although my service was not as fast as the others in a restaurant.Vegetarischer worth: they have a whole section of vegetarian combos on the menu that is a nice change of places that offer only vegetable side dishes. a section of seafood on the menu offers other meat alternatives. also try it: the huevos con chorizo is a nice alternative for other time than the breakfast, especially as I like the spicy black sausage. their seafood dip with garnel, scallops and melted cheese offers a nice starter for dinner.Pay: on their way out. they always pay attention to business times as many places close to the winter, they close for a few hours in the pm, or cannot be found when the fish bite.
I've been here with the family for years. It was Sunday night for the first time since September. I've never been so disappointed! Waiter was rude. The menu has changed a lot in recent years and now. What happened to combo memories? Salsa was terrible and my court (which I have ordered for years) was very mediocre. Had to beg for water! Such a disappointment! The bill for two was $35 including tip (which the waiter does not deserve). When was this place expensive mexican?
Just great Mexican cuisine. I like their special combo platter. It has an assortment of items and each one is great. Atmosphere is fitting and always courteous waiters make it a pleasure to visit.
We love go every time we come! Great food and service, even with a crowd they get you in and served quickly.
I have ate at both locations and the service was awesome. Food was fantastic. We will return often.
