We had an excellent experience at the Southlake location, enjoying authentic aromas served by the staff in a comfortable and elegant atmosphere. This was our first visit to Southlake, as we've been regulars at the Montfort location near the Galleria for years. What stands out is the consistency in quality between both locations. The service was extremely slow; it took 90 minutes from our arrival to receive our food. I wouldn't return, and I've noticed many other patrons have also complained about the service. View all feedback.
That will be one of those strata that everyone says there must be more, but, believe me, there is not. five of us from 50 to 70 went to dinner on Saturday. we ordered a cocktail, sat for a few minutes and visited, then ordered another cocktail together with 6 Entre dishes. we had a very normal evening until the owner manager came to the table and said that her bartender said that he had a lot of alcohol and she hoped that the ladies would go home. what? at this point we had a drink every day. one of our party had to argue with the waiter to get his second drink. in my 70 years and a million restaurants I have never experienced an offensive, out of line, outrageous and sexist note. the food was really good, but they will certainly not have to worry about who drives me back home!

Great dinner in an unusual environment for Southlake. Not too many authentic Indian food restaurants close by. Loved the Mughlai Mixed Grill and the nan
Very disappointed in our dining experience Saturday. The service was incredibly slow and when one of the owners stopped by we asked if we could order drinks from her and she wouldn’t take our order. She said she had to “watch the front door”. We had a 7pm reservation and even had to wait a bit before being sat and of course then it took a good 15 20 minutes before being greeted by our waitress. When it came time to pay, the bill was incorrect and we told our waitress who then had her manager take over and after explaining to the manager why it was wrong, he too couldn’t get it right. It’s unfortunate as we have dined here before and this time we brought friends to enjoy the experience with us and instead walked away disappointed. Service can make or break a restaurant and the owner had every opportunity to step up to the plate when her waitress was “slammed” and remedy the situation, but instead she let it get worse.
