I was suprised to come on here and see so many bad reviews. I ordered it to be delivered it arrived hot. I thought the portion was decent for the price maybe 12-15 pieces of chicken and a cup and half of the chicken fried rice for like 14$. What Brook T doesn't like about New Hunan:
Service was Ok.. But the food was very bland and the chicken and beef were very rubbery.. the egg rolls did not taste like proper egg rolls. i will not be eating here again. View all feedback.
Like so many I read reviews after I ordered. I would compare the fried rice and sesame chicken to a dirty wet sock. I took a few bites and it ruined my appetite. When ordering I had no idea what came with it and the girl seemed annoyed that I was even asking.
The food here is mid at best... Had to throw away the wonton soup. It tasted absolutely horrible. Probably won't order from here again. ?
I don’t know how this place is approved by the health department to serve food. As soon as you walk in it smells foul. The “gravy” they give you with the almond boneless chicken smells sour and is definitely NOT gravy. Took one bite of the chicken and threw away everything else without trying it. I havent been able to get the taste of the oil out of my mouth the last three hours. There’s way better Chinese food within 2 miles
Best Chinese takeout around. We used to order takeout from Rocky's, but the food quality and too many variations in the preparation of dishes turned my family off because it was so inconsistent. New Hunan prepares their dishes consistently and it always tastes good, and is fresh. Generous portions and they hustle to get you fed.
I still had a menu from a year ago, cost increased by 40
