China Wong - Southern Gateway

With every single bite I took I said “you need to try this” to my boyfriend. This was SO GOOD! Usually American-Chinese food is just okay, but this was so good and the portion sizes were so big! The lady at the counter was also super nice and the service was SUPER fast! Ordered 5 things and it was all done within 10 minutes.

We tried China Wong for the first time tonight and are delighted. The food was delivered promptly and was amazing. We had Chicken with Cashews that was delicious it had a few yummy fresh veggies with it (celery, water chestnuts, carrot and pepper). We also had fried dumplings that were cooked perfectly and the boneless B B Q spare ribs were great. The Sweet and Sour Chicken, egg and spring rolls were also fantastic. After using the same Chinese restaurant for years that was falling down in quality of food, we are really excited to have found China Wong! We will definitely be using them from now on.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. It's one of the few places where the chicken is fresh and juicy, and they serve generous portions at reasonable prices! I highly recommend it! I usually order the General Tso's chicken with medium spice.

Let me tell you about my two favorites. First, there’s the shrimp fried rice, which complements any dish you pair it with without being overpowering. And trust me, they are generous with the shrimp and the assortment of veggies that come with it. I like to enjoy it with the pork spare ribs, which are glazed with a sweet marinade that adds a lovely char to the ribs. It's the perfect surf-and-turf experience, Chinese-style! Beyond the food, the customer service is fantastic, especially since I usually do pickup and delivery. I have no complaints regarding the food, the timing, or the staff. This place will forever be my go-to in the wonderful city of Fredericksburg!

I have been ordering from this restaurant for more than nine years, and I’ve never been let down. The quality has consistently been excellent, and the delivery is always quick.
