Went here today , must say couldn’t fault the food until I had nearly eaten mine and bit on a lump of plastic ! When I mentioned to the waitress, not much response! And didn’t even offer a small amount off the bill , probably won’t go back , shame because it was quite nice up until then ! View all feedback.
I love this place. I come here for breakfast every Saturday and Sunday morning. The service and quality are very consistent and the view is simply fantastic.
Beautiful food and beautiful views would recommend to anyone visiting Southend-on-Sea. The food was very good and it came out very quickly.

Had a birthday party at the beach hat last night and it was wonderful. The team is very friendly and has done everything you need for the evening special (table chair layout to us, access for live music DJ setup, decorations etc. The warm selection of dishes was excellent (many guests commented how much they enjoyed it. Good food, friendly staff, great views. Popped in here in the off chance for a late lunch. Friendly staff welcomed us. Really enjoyed the food. We chose cod and gammon, both very well presented and the gammon was of high quality, not the common pre formed from a packet stuff you can sometimes get. Cod was good too and better not too heavy. Decent coffee to follow too. Recommended.
