I had a coffee and a huge jack, big enough for two. the place is busy, both customer and decorate wise, but it is just a short walk with their outgoing to bench with view of the pier and mouth. View all feedback.

I have been frequenting this establishment for several years, mainly to show my support for independent tea/coffee shops. On my recent visit, I ordered a cup of tea that was priced at £2, but was charged £2.25 due to my request for soy milk in my drink. While I understand a slight markup for specialty milk alternatives like soyalate, I found it unnecessary for a simple splash of soy in my tea. When I inquired, I was informed that it was company policy. I have decided not to return until they reconsider this policy, as it seems unfair to penalize vegan and lactose-intolerant customers in this way. Despite this issue, the atmosphere of the place is trendy and urban.
The coffee was excellent and the vegan cookies were delicious! The staff was also very friendly.
I came across this cozy restaurant while I was in the area and decided to check it out. The menu was simple, focusing on scratch-made toasties and sandwiches. While there were no meat alternatives available, they did offer vegan cheese and falafel as filling options. The baked goods were also vegan-friendly, providing a sweet treat to accompany their coffees. Unfortunately, they were out of torte during my visit, but they had two delicious homemade cookies to choose from. The place was quite busy, indicating its popularity, but I was able to order my food to go and was impressed with the quality and freshness. I would definitely recommend a visit, especially if you're looking for a good cup of coffee. They also have pet-friendly outdoor seating available.
The menu lacked diversity, but it was evident that they were making an effort to improve.
I visited this establishment a couple of years ago in support of small, independent tea and coffee shops. I ordered a cup of tea for £2, but was charged £2.25 because I requested soy milk. I found the 25p increase unreasonable for just a splash of soy in my tea, as it would make more sense for a soy latte. When I asked about this, I was informed that it was their policy. Due to this experience, I have chosen not to return until their policy is reconsidered, as it seems like an unfair charge for vegans and those with lactose intolerance. Despite this issue, the atmosphere of the place is very trendy and urban.
