Stopped in for a beer on the recommendation of the landlady. The decor is not flash but the staff were friendly and the beer was cold. Not sure if food is available but it is a pleasant enough place View all feedback.

Visited on Sunday evening for a quick drink during the visit of the family. the quiz was up, but I could sit at the bar and have a friendly conversation with the locals. big beer and a great pub.
I have visited some paintings, but especially late afternoon, if it was not very busy. the beer in the offer are very well represented with local breweries. eating is very good prices .
We were looking for a pub with real ales, close to the Ilfracombe Hotel. Looked on-line and this seemed the best bet. Things to note, they don't run tabs and are cash only. Unfortunately, they only had two real ales available, both amber and not...very strong. Food prices were very good and although we only had sandwiches plus one baked potatoe, very tasty. The lady serving was great and very good humoured.
