We had a nice meal at Oyster Creek Kitchen. Our waiter was Max, who was so attentive, friendly and informative. We will definitely come back. Really good food, good choice for a meal before a show in the Cliffs. Please give our thanks to Max! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Oyster Creek Kitchen:
The seafood palette tastes like a pile of thawed seafood from the fridge. The food is too overpriced. It does not taste fresh. However, it appears to be ideal for photographing. However, the atmosphere and employees are very pleasant. View all feedback.

On a sunny day, there's nothing better than enjoying a refreshing cold drink while overlooking the river at this place—it's simply unforgettable! I visited recently, and everything was perfect. The food was excellent, the service was quick, and the desserts were truly memorable. Just a heads up about the prices; the bill felt more like something you'd find in Central London than in Southend. However, the quality of the food, drinks, service, and stunning location definitely make it worth it. I would highly recommend this place!
This is a lovely seaside fish restaurant in Southend, set in a charming converted Victorian summer house with stunning views of the seafront. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options, and making a reservation online was effortless. The portions of fish and chips are generous and incredibly tasty. The only downside is the automatic 10% service fee that was added to my bill. While the service was good, I felt that £5 just for taking my order and bringing it to the table was a bit much, especially since they offer similar service at a very different establishment.
Visited the hottest day of the year and it was curved inside. Luckily there is a beautiful outdoor area where there are umbrellas and a beautiful cool sea breeze. Eating was good and looked great. Tastefully, nothing was thrown away from the oysters and there was too much sauce on the lobster/cratches. Otherwise, the presentation and the freshness of the food loved and would visit again.
Food was good. The fish was a bit bland but everything else was very tasty and amazing atmosphere very calm and cozy. I could have been on holiday. Staff were a bit moody but helpful if we asked a question. Very happy with the place. Would go again.
