Cookies Cones - Southend-on-Sea

What a disappointment! This restaurant used to be a fun spot to drop by for a treat every now and then. However, it is now neglected and dirty, with barely any ice cream available (which was the main reason for our visit!). The displays were lackluster and tired, showing no care in presentation. The restrooms were also extremely dirty. On top of all that, the staff member who was serving us completely ignored our presence, so we eventually decided to leave. The owner of this establishment should consider checking in more often to take better care of it.

We really enjoy Cookies and Cones. They offer a fantastic variety of tasty treats, although they are a bit expensive, they are worth it. The interior could use some improvement in terms of decor and comfort, but it is dog-friendly, so we were able to bring our pup with us. The staff is pleasant and accommodating, and they will package your treats to go.

After finding out that another ice cream parlor nearby had unexpectedly closed (even though we had made a reservation), we decided to stop at this one instead to avoid disappointing my grandchildren. The young lady working behind the counter was extremely kind and attentive, and she went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience.

After passing and drooling a few times, we popped in as had breakfast in the area. The sweet treats overwhelmed us, just too many to say yes too. We decided on a few donuts, white choc and Jam dodger, orange chocolate and cream egg brownie. My god drool heaven, yummo! We will go and sit in next time and sample the rest

The window display is enough to pull you in. I try to stay away from sugar, I’m not successful. I have a restricted diet but it turns out they had cookies for all diets. The vegan cookies were so delicious, they didn’t make it to the car park. Great place for an afternoon pick me up/snack. Check it out
