They work hard, and the result is amazing food that's perfect for big gatherings! The waitress, whose name I believe is Noodle, is always full of energy. She's down-to-earth and excels at her job, making sure I had everything I needed and promptly refilling my drinks. Jeremy thanks them for all the years of excellent food and service! I also appreciate their creativity in coming up with new specials. I’m so glad this... View all feedback.
What Cathrine Cole doesn't like about Elm Centre Cafe:
We were excited to eat here because it was recommended by hotel staff but the food wasn't great. I didn't ask for cheese and when my food arrived it had huge pieces of American cheese that wasn't even melted. Just cold and overwhelming. No one checked on us so I couldn't even mention it until someone handed us the bill. I wasn't offered coffee refills. The Staff was friendly to my son. Wouldn't go back. View all feedback.
Personal service, menu variety, location, and quality – all deserve five stars! I only managed to take pictures of two of our dishes because the food was so incredible that we didn’t pause to think about capturing more. Recently, we weren't able to travel from Enfield, CT to Providence, RI to visit friends, so we decided to meet at Elm Centre Cafe for a lovely breakfast halfway. The atmosphere was perfect for reconnecting with old friends, reminiscent of the kind of places you see in movies like Mystic Pizza or Fried Green Tomatoes. If I had to compare it to a TV show, I’d say it felt like something out of Gilmore Girls or Alice. If you’re passing through Southbridge, it’s definitely worth stopping by. The food truly spoke to my soul, and everyone around us was clearly enjoying their meals. The service was fantastic too! One dish I captured is the Portuguese Benedict, and the other is from one of the combo menus. I regret not taking a picture of the most amazing pancakes I've ever seen! Our friend ordered the Irish Benedict, while another had simple eggs with some sides. There wasn’t a single empty plate at our table!

Without a doubt, the best breakfast in Central Massachusetts—and perhaps in all of New England—is found here. Whether dining in or taking out, the food has consistently been fantastic. Just as the breakfast is exceptional, so too are the employees at the Elm Center. They always provide top-notch service and an outstanding culinary experience. I’m grateful to have the Elm Center as part of our community and have recommended it countless times to family and friends.
