read morePJ O'Brien's restaurant has received a variety of reviews, with some diners expressing disappointment in dishes like the slow-cooked lamb shoulder and seafood chowder. However, others have praised the hearty servings of comfort food, such as the beef and Guinness pie. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff seem to be a consistent highlight, with many customers noting the excellent service provided. The restaurant also offers value for money, especially during happy hour, with live entertainment adding to the appeal. Overall, while some reviews suggest room for improvement in certain areas, PJ O'Brien's appears to be a popular choice for those looking for a cozy Irish pub experience in Melbourne.
