Live jazz, good food and friendly service made for a nice relaxed evening before a gig at the melbourne recital centre. I would reccomend booking as they were fully booked out when we arrived but the outdoor area is nice and kept warm with numerous heaters. View all feedback.
What Chesley Daniel doesn't like about Blondie:
Have been here twice in 2 months. The first time the experience was outstanding. So we returned. This time we waited 50 minutes for soup. We chased the order up with two different waiters and neither was apologetic for the slow service. When it eventually arrived the quality was poor and unlike what we have experienced previously from Blondie. Will need to think carefully whether we'd come here again. Pity as its ve... Came here with friends before attending MTC. The service was super fast and friendly and the food was excellent. The only drawback was when the meals were delivered, it was difficult to get the attention of the staff when we wanted to know that one of the meals was not delivered. When the bar was busy, her attention was to the newer males. But that was a small problem that had not spoiled the experience, and all 4 of us are trying to come back.
We chose to share dishes served were a decent size, the food beautiful, service excellent. All in all, a great evening.
Great service, delicious food, even in a busy night the experience could not have been better!
A delicious menu with new flavors for us. The cream was wow! Conscious, but excellent and friendly service. We booked for our next night.
This restaurant is located near a recital hall where you may find yourself before a show. The prices for the food were high and the quality was lacking. The ingredients did not taste fresh and seemed to be cooked from frozen. The calamari was unimpressive and tasted similar to pre-packaged calamari from a brand like I&J, simply deep fried and lacking in flavor. Overall, the meal was overpriced and lacked any real taste. One positive note was the thyme chips, although the only issue was that they were actually made with parsley instead of thyme.
