the travs visited their American indepedence Day cafeer tonight. eating was excellent. Never had clam chowder. absolutely delicious. wings were top dress like the Florida salad followed by new orleans jambalaya, which is a meal on its own faust. well made to ryan, claire, dean and ele for an excellent evening. it was great. A scruffy pub in serious need of a refurb. When the old tenants moves out we thought the new ones would spruce the place up. It's probably worse than it was before. View all feedback.
Excellent Sunday roast. choice of meat, nice eating and I think very cheap. very helpful and polite staff gave great service. will definitely go back!
We have found this pub randomly and so glad that we have made it! helpful friendly staff, good eating, beautiful view from the terrace and dog friendly what they can wish more!
Moved to the opposite and was recommended for Sunday lunch here by another pub! very good food, beautiful view over the hidden valley and the sun. bliss.
Had an amazing take away frying today, 2 huhn and 1 gay. although my son said that the owl was not the best, he shared a part of the generous part of the chicken roast I had and thrown into the rest. never saw cracks like that!. General portions of veg, contain excruciating, carrots, broken papasnip, pork and roast potatoes, there had even light green brokkoli, in contrast to we had before elsewhere, all perfectly cooked and gave the whole presentation a wonderful color. the only thing that was wrong, because it was going out and had a hidden container, was the yorkshire pudding not crunching, but that could not be helped and certainly not spoil the joy. we ended up with one of the gloomy, chocolate berry, lemon cheesecake and a sponge dish with fruit sorry can not remember the names but all were delicious. the only reason for the 4 out of 5, the Sunday menu is not a veggi or vegan alternative, which is one today. not on the line. will definitely order again, best take the roast we had through the whole sluice!
A fantastic little traditional pub hidden in a simply beautiful rural location. Parking and garden with a fantastic view. They have a new chef who is exceptional. Our food was nothing less than outstanding. Great live music in the garden too. Very impressive service, friendly...and on the ball. Highly recommend a visit soon.
