The pizza is far better than any pizza I've ever had. Everything is fresh and homemade (including dipping sauce)! If you can believe it, the cheesy garlic fingers are even better than the pizza and the fresh marinara sauce that comes with the garlic fingers....Mmm Worth every penny. Consistently the best! Only downfall: cash only. I wish they at least accepted debit. View all feedback.
What Ken Bartell doesn't like about Roberto's Pizzeria:
Didn't get to try the pizza. Was told one hour wait, then "a few more minutes", then found out someone else got our order! Mistakes happen, but the owner did not apologize, or offer any compensation. He let the young girl at the counter take the rap. She gave us a refund after offering to have another one made (another hour) or take the other customer's pizza! View all feedback.
I love how this pizzeria is willing to think a little out of the box. They make great pizza and have a nice side padio but be warned they can run out of dough.
Got a slice which was quite good but only comes with a pepperoni topping, would be nice if there was more choice
We ordered our pizza from Robertos at 6:10 p.m and we're given a pick up time of 7:20. I arrived to pick up my order at 7:10 figuring if I was there early I would catch it coming hot out of the oven. Upon entering I gave the girl my name and she gave me a quizzical look , went back to look at the line of ticket orders strung up in front of the pizza maker, and told me it wasn't made yet and would be another 25 minutes. My wife was back at the hotel room so I sat in my car and listened to the radio for 25 minutes. Granted, this was at prime time on a Saturday night but really, an hour and forty five minutes to make a medium margherite pizza? I can't imagine the wait on a busy night during peak season. Someone who appeared to be the owner brought the pizza out and apologized for it taking so long. It would have taken the pain away for having spent 17.25$ for an 8 piece pizza that took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get if he would have at least given me a discount. Won't be going back to Robertos next stay in beautiful Southampton, Ontario.
Absolutely the best pizza I have ever had! This is defenently a must stop and try place! Also amazing wings!
Roberto's pizza is fabulous! Hot, freshly made and topped with great toppings. This pizza beats any chain made pizza hands down. A definite try in Southampton.
