There are two places. You're White Dots Restaurant, which has great basic food, but it's just cash. There's a little old-fashioned, but locally. The other is a CB and car stereo shop, again Old-School, but they take CC. Good service in local possession. View all feedback.
There are two establishments to mention. First is White Dots Restaurant, which offers delicious, straightforward food but only accepts cash. It's a bit old-fashioned, yet it has a local charm. The second place is a CB and car stereo shop, which also has a vintage feel but accepts credit cards. Both places provide good service and are locally owned.
First off, the ice is incredible! They offer a wide variety of flavors and frequently change the soft serve options. The black raspberry soft serve was delightful! We ordered our food ahead of time, and it was delivered right to our car since the indoor seating isn't open yet. I had the garlic bread cheese steak, and I have to say, it’s quickly become one of my favorites. We also tried the hot dogs, which were fantastic, along with the fries and onion rings, both of which were excellent. The pork roll and cheese was also a hit. Everything was just wonderful, and the prices are very reasonable. Just a heads up—it's cash only, so make sure to bring some change!
I understand why White Dotte is so popular on site. Excellent ice cream both soft and hard. Warning: Expect You have a massive cone when you order a medium! I can't imagine how I could even finish a big one, and I'm known for my appetite.
This place is a down home slice of American pie straight out of the 1940’s or 50’s. Serving classic comfort food in a charming rest stop setting right out of something you’d see in the movies, it’s clear why White Dotte has been feeding motorists and locals for decades. The staff is incredibly friendly and fast. I’ve had the fried chicken and waffles, smothered in delicious white country gravy. I’ve also tried their slow cooked, savory and sweet BBQ. Corn bread, baked beans, fried pickles, coleslaw and mac n cheese are all really delicious and taste like mom made them. This is great comfort food at a really good price. Try this place but bring cash, as they don’t take cards. The only bathroom is a port o pottie, so don’t be expecting fancy facilities or anything. This is a rest stop, with only a few booth tables. Think greasy spoon with really nice people and rockin classic American food.
Over the top friendly and service above and beyond! The young people I encountered working there have a lot to be proud of. Thank you and keep up the great work!
