Sheldon's Ice Cream - Southampton

The handmade ice cream here is absolutely delicious, and there's a charming outdoor porch where you can enjoy beautiful views of the river. Although the dam was removed, it's a positive change for the environment. You can spot native trout swimming in the stream, which adds to the experience.

We visited Sheldon's Ice Cream for the first time, and it exceeded our expectations! As a vegan family, finding sweet treats can be a challenge, so when we discovered Sheldon's on Happy Cow (a vegan food finder), we were thrilled to learn they offer a variety of non-dairy ice cream flavors—way more than just a couple! I tried the mint chocolate chip, and it was absolutely divine—perfectly minty and creamy. I can't wait to go back for more! My husband enjoyed the Cherry Bear Chocolate Chip and loved it, while my 5-year-old daughter, who had just woken up from a nap after a long car ride, was overjoyed to see they had Chocolate Marshmallow. After tasting it, she exclaimed it was amazing! I highly recommend Sheldon's, and we will definitely be making regular trips up from Connecticut. The vegan ice cream here is incredible! It's the best I've come across in the area. I'm thrilled to have so many vegan flavors to choose from, rather than just one or two options.
