The Woolpack - Southall

I really love this place; it's one of my two favorite pubs in London. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and there are lovely women around. There's also a pool room with sports on the TVs, making it a great place to unwind. Plus, they serve excellent beer!

As soon as you enter, the staff's behavior towards customers is quite disappointing, especially if you’re not a regular. When I walked in, unsure of the protocols, the bartender barked at me in an aggressive manner, saying, "Hey! Don't just stand there unless you’re paying the ladies; you need to move over there!" He also demanded a £1 payment. There was a distinct lack of manners and professionalism. Furthermore, they only accept cash—no cards at all—which is quite unbelievable in this day and age. Overall, the staff was rude, and the environment was quite dirty. I would recommend avoiding this place!

It's a strip bar that tends to be busiest during lunchtime. They feature 3 to 4 talented performers during the day, and they also offer private dance options. The stage is well-placed, providing an unobstructed view of the performances. Overall, it's a pleasant experience.

I've been visiting this pub for years, and it has become my go-to spot for a midday break. The service is quick and friendly, which lets me enjoy a drink during my limited free time, helping me recharge for the rest of my workday and week.
