We went to SMAK because of the extensive gluten free options for me but we were amazed at just how good the cooking was- lots of flavours and textures perfectly balanced. I had the Mexican baked eggs which was a large meal and just exploded in flavour- best meal in a very long time. Taste, nutrition and presentation are important factors when enjoying food, but taste is probably the most important.
This place was HEALTHYSo if you wanting a greasy piece of bacon it's not the place to go.

The coffee was great and all around can't recommend this cafe highly enough!
A stylishly decorated space with interesting food options with emphasis on fresh ingredients.My pumpkin and chickpea fritters came with avocado a softly cooked egg on top. Nicely garnished with chilli and lots of fresh coriander. Staff were friendly and they made me a custom takeaway order without any issue. A great breakfast option. They also contribute part of their profits to supporting mnd research.
