This restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy people-watching and to catch a glimpse of exotic cars. The food is also delicious, with the Thai Beef Salad and homemade gnocchi being standout dishes. View all feedback.
What Katelin Strosin doesn't like about Caffe Sienna Ristorante:
With all the great restaurants in South Yarra, I have trouble comprehending why this place can draw such a crowd. The food is overpriced and average quality (pizza okay, Parma overpriced, scrambled eggs foul), the service is consistently hit and miss and overall it is completely sub standard. Caffé Sienna South Yarra & Toorak, Melbourne Nov 15, 2013 via mobile NEGATIVE WooowThis cafe is revolting.
Went here for the first time yesterday Seemed like a lot of the places on chapel street were closed so we found ourselves here.
The constant change of backpackers as serving staff always gives this place a vibrant atmosphere.
After coming here on multiple occasions, I ordered the calzone like I had months ago and was left disappointed in the new portion size. When I questioned the waiter, he said it did look small and left it at that. My girlfriends risotto was also a smaller serving size than last time as well. Ended up leaving and getting a second meal down the road, will not be recommending to others anymore.
My husband wanted to take me out for a special dinner to [what used to be] our favourite restaurant on Chapel Street. We only wanted something light, so we ordered the Tuscan Lamb pizza. Oh. My. God. The pizza was oily, the base was tough and...worst of all...the lamb was rotten! I nearly vomited! I also ordered a side of yoghurt...it came with hair!!! Ew! No one, not even the arrogant manager, apologised for the catastrophe, that was our one night out in ages. I am disappointed and appalled that this place is open for business! #disgusted #disappointed #arrogant #neveragain
