After trying out most of the local sushi spots, Higashi is the one I keep returning to. Their Super Cute roll is my absolute favorite, but I'm also a huge fan of their Boston roll. The Boston is nothing like the other local places though, which almost always have mayonnaise, where as this one has no mayo but adds tamagoyaki??? Which is weird but oh so wonderful. My first order from Higashi and the food was very tasty. I wish I had gotten something that identified the sushis that were in the Sushi Beginner , as there were several that I didn 't recognize. My partner had Pork Gyoza, Chicken Tatsuta Age, and Beef Yakesoba. It was all very good .
I went here by myself to dine in the other day and had a great experience. Service was fast and everyone in the restaurant was extremely kind. I got the sushi and definitely enjoyed it a lot. You get a pretty good bang for your buck with the sushi dinners considering they come with a good amount of sushi plus a soup AND salad. Overall, I appreciate the courteous staff and delicious food! :

If you've never tried tanagoyaki, it can be a little surprising and strange at first because it's sort of a sweetened egg omelette but it's honestly SO good if you're feeling somewhat adventurous. The pork gyoza and kani salad are also excellent!
Amazing small Japanese place. The prices and dishes are spectacular, I think this gonna be my favorite lunch place, prices comparable to fast food and way healthier.
I moved to the area a couple of months ago and am so excited to have discovered this restaurant so close to me. I have ordered take out many times at this point, although the restaurant is lovely with a cozy ambiance. I will eat there someday! The staff are very friendly. They have affordable lunch and combination specials with everything you could want rice, soup, salad, fried goodness, broccoli, and the dinners come with a sliced orange. I am addicted to their white rice. The shrimp tempura and katsu are not overly condimented and taste fresh, and are always perfectly crispy. The green mussels were a generous serving, meaty and so tasty. The shrimp shu mai and gyoza are very good. The maki rolls are also worth it, especially the 3x combo.
