I've always wanted to experience their Sunday live music, which is featured on their website from 2 PM to 5 PM. We stopped by for a quick beer and were delighted to find the live music happening. The atmosphere was fantastic—relatively calm—and the service was quick and friendly. This is a great spot with a wide variety of tap beer options, and they even offer tank beer! I will definitely keep coming back for the lai... View all feedback.

Had a nice family lunch. Standard pub fare but done well and food came out quickly. Bit pricy, but no doubt due to the location and the nice view. Service was good and staff helpful. View all feedback.
Solid pub food at typical pub prices. Got the chicken schnitzel and it was quite scrumptious with a salad to nicely balance it out. The mushroom sauce was great. They sometimes have live music and I thought it was piercingly loud when I had to switch seats to move away from it hurting my ears. Expect to spend $30-35 for a meal here. They have weekend surcharge. Price per person: A$20–40
Great place to process The Lume exhibition. Happy Hour Spritzs were delish! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We went to General Assembly for the Saturday Spritz session, and it couldn’t have been better!! Didi (Heidi) and Mimi (Amy) were the best hosts we could’ve asked for!! Without them it wouldn’t have been the same! If it was up to our discretion each of them should (at the very least) receive management positions . No word short of an hyperbole ! Good Friday eats done right I'm not religious but for some reason even in my adulthood I can't break tradition and so I can't eat meat on Good Friday. On the search in the city for something that wasn't just fried fish and chips at a premium price (no thanks to the public holiday surcharge that has all but ruined any outing), I stumbled across General Assembly and saw that they had a fried calamari burger special. Not only for Good Friday but every Friday and at $22 this burg slapped!! The burg was simple yet packed such a flavourful punch. The calamari was crispy and the aioli was light and not overpowering. The bun itself was perfect a milk bun that held together and was so soft but a little flakey. Honestly I can't fault this burg! It came with a mass amount of chips that were perfectly cooked and salted, and with sriracha easily accessible on every table, I was in Good Friday fish and chip heaven! It was served with a smile and even an apology for the $2 public holiday fee and, to top it off, the live music made for a great Friday afternoon chilled vibe!!
