A rare visit as we aren’t fans but one of our granddaughters is. She wanted a kids meal with drink and ice cream. Service too poor and slow to increase our opinion of this venue. View all feedback.
Just picked up food from the drive thru given a child’s burger instead of a regular and a coke that looked like dish water didn’t relize till got home so to late to go back can’t understand when it was poured it wasn’t noticed as was a dark brown ..
Credits where it’s due, we had given up on using this KFC years ago due to constant problems, no chicken or buns being two of them! Anyhow, our son fancied a boneless chicken meal for one. The queue was larger than it used to be as fans of KFC got a chance post lockdown to have their favourite but it was well managed, served quickly and politely and one happy son!
I ordered an 8-piece Boneless Feast with Fanta Tango, 2 fries, 4 corn cobettes, and beans for a total of £22.89 through Just Eat. Unfortunately, when the order arrived, only the side dishes were included - no chicken at all, just fries, corn cobettes, and beans. Despite contacting Just Eat, there was no redelivery or refund. Additionally, there was a sticker on the box claiming it had been checked and sealed. After venting my frustration on Facebook, I discovered that many of my friends had experienced similar issues with wrong or incomplete orders from KFC in the past few weeks. It seems like KFC needs to improve their customer service and quality control to keep up with other fast food outlets. It's disappointing to see regular customers being let down like this. Hopefully, once the high demand for online orders due to Covid-19 calms down, KFC in South Shields will improve their service.
I had a very typical KFC experience at this restaurant. The chicken was delicious and there was a good variety of sides to choose from. There was plenty of parking available outside and the staff were friendly. I also thought that Chrissy's burger looked amazing.
I was disappointed to find that my order was missing a piece of chicken for the second time in a row at this restaurant. This has happened to me frequently at this specific KFC location, and although I wouldn't usually complain about one missing item, it has become a recurring issue. My wife enjoys KFC so we keep coming back, but I called to complain and nobody answered, which has also been a common occurrence. This kind of problem has never happened at other KFC locations, so I am puzzled as to why it continues to happen here.
