Ribs and Rumps - SOUTH TOWNSVILLE

Great location south of the river. Very good and friendly service. Ribs were huge but not a lot of meat on the bone. My rump fillet was ordered medium well but arrived medium rare. Tasty meat despite serving temp and good ribs. No wifi available....server said owner does not approve...of what? Lots of TV's in restaurant and bar BUT all TV's show a loop of pre-recorded sports highlight. Every 2-2.5 minutes (eventually I timed it on my phone(oops!)) an ad for the restaurants lunch special was shown. The exact ad, every 2 minutes, during the pre-recorded loop. Not a sports bar. Good for groups.

Husband and I dined here last night Joe was our terrific friendly waiter who knows his menu. I had the t-bone cooked to perfection husband chose the 400g rump & pork ribs both delicious & cooked perfect prompt service joe did try to entice some diners with a desert tray they all looked devine but id had quite sufficient so I declined . Definately return here .

The food here was good. The ribs were outstanding and the beef burger was ok. Caesar salad was poor but that wasn't a surprise since this was a ribs and rump place! Friendly and quick service.

We enjoy eating here early in the evening before it gets too busy. My daughter always has the kids pasta which she likes. The ribs are delicious and we enjoy our dinners.

This place was spectacular. We ate here with a 3 year old and 10 month old and the staff were so lovely, helpful and accommodating to our little ones needs. The food was spectacular too. The ribs were beautiful as well as the steak and even our sons fish and chips were yummy and a very generous serve for a child. Can't wait to eat here again.
