What Grant Douglas doesn't like about Frog & Toad Restaurant and Bar:
I was disappointed that the restaurant did not meet the high ratings. It seems that the positive comments may have come from family and friends, which is not surprising. I have had better dining experiences elsewhere. Some reviews, especially from a frequent 5-star reviewer who receives freebies, should not be trusted. An enjoyable time celebrating my 64th8 with delicious food & good service. Our only complaint was the amount of time it took us to choose what to eat off the interesting menu!Nice ambience from the warm decor & surrounds & also quite (important for us oldies with hearing problems!).
