I wrote a review 6 months ago and thought I'd would come back to try The Point again. Last time the food was cheap but totally bland. Can't say anything has

2 couples, ok we were just walk ins with no booking - but given one tapas menu and one drinks menu. Then left, after a while asked if there was any other menu and finally given the menu of other options. Extremely difficult to find something decent ( well to our taste) husband ordered the specials board chicken. Dry cous cous, thinly sliced chicken breast and eggplant $33. Friends shared pork belly. Service was really slow. Decided to order dessert - had to track down the waitress- Anyway won't be going back. My advice give it a miss - or plan on having something else to eat after.

Location plus, great food , friendly and caring staff , they said As we walked in " you will love the food. We did , not disappointed , value for money .

Had lunch there today amazing service by the waitress one of the best in a long time had the Thai green prawn curry was absolutely fantastic. Definitely come back

This is a very pleasant spot along a busy street in a beautiful part of the Gold Coast.Good choices on the menu and that includes the lunch time specials. Service was very attentive, friendly and timely. Nothing that was finished with was left on the table for long. Which is not necessarily a good thing, as on occasions you can be made to feel like you had better hurry up with your meal. However, people doing their job effectively is to be commended. The food was pleasant, not exceptional on this occasion and it was good value for money. This is certainly a place we would go back to, as some of the selections were interesting, and you can only eat so much in one sitting.
