What User doesn't like about Fish in the Park:
Bought fish and chips to have in the park. Fish was greasy thick battered and over cooked. Chips were fine. Have good menu selection with reasonable prices. But Fish was terrible. Service was not friendly at all. Plenty of other place at paradise point to grab something to eat have a picnic. View all feedback.
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. It took a long time to receive our takeaway order and when we finally got it, the chips were cold and tasted bad from being cooked in old oil. Both orders had chicken salt when we only asked for one to have it. The food was greasy because of the old oil used. This used to be my favorite fish and chip shop in Paradise Point, but I will not be returning.
We have dined at this restaurant twice now. The first time, we witnessed the girl who was serving us eating some of our chips as she put them in the to-go box. Despite this, we decided to give them another chance and went back more recently, only to have the same experience. Both the cook and the girl serving us were caught eating our food, and on top of that, they were not wearing gloves or taking proper COVID precautions. It was extremely disappointing and gross.
The barramundi with chips and potato cakes at this restaurant was absolutely delicious. I found myself craving the salty, crispy, fried goodness and ended up eating here multiple times during our visit to friends amidst COVID. It's a fantastic local option in a charming location. Thank you Karen Harry for the wonderful experience!
Waiting minutes for fish and chips takeaway is ridiculous it should be hello employ someone else to cook
Owner is rude. Food was terrible. Won't be back. Lots of better options in Paradise Point. Fish was tasteless and the staff could really do with some customer service lessons.
