The Wheatsheaf - South Staffordshire

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was impressed by the friendly and polite staff. I enjoyed my meal so much that I returned a few days later for their Bogoff deal. I usually eat at McDonald's, but the burger, fries, and onion rings at this restaurant were far better. I couldn't find any faults with it and will definitely be returning. The staff were very accommodating.

We travelled over an hour to come and meet friends. The food is just outstanding! The staff are really friendly and very patient. Will be returning soon.

The food at this restaurant was overcooked and had a bitter flavor. We had to return both the steak and chicken dishes because of this. The meat items all had a bitter taste as well. The Jamaican stew, which is the specialty, was never available. The "dressed" salad did not come with any dressing, and when we inquired about it, we were informed that they were out. The staff were friendly but it was evident that they were understaffed. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.

My first visit to this restaurant was excellent. There was plenty of space for my child's wheelchair, and the staff were polite and friendly. The kids' meals were generous and there was no waste. The ice cream sundae for dessert was delicious and affordable. Both the flatbread with piri piri chicken and the steak flatbread were worth the money. The food was lovely and we will definitely be visiting again. It makes a big difference when the staff are welcoming.
