The restaurant was very good, open table app allowed me to book a table for 10pm. I called restaurant at 6pm to double check and they had no record of booking and also stopped serving at 10. So I had no reservation. From that point on they did everything they could to still allow us to come even though they were already almost fully booked and.I couldn't.get there til 10pm. We booked a staff meal on a Friday evening, which was lovely. Food was very pleasant although scallops were a little gritty. Our waitress (whose name escapes me, sorry! was a pleasure. Polite, cheerful and chatty brilliant service! View all feedback.
I have a nice lazy here Monday afternoon. Eating was great. the personal is friendly.
The food was great, but the service was not! obviously understated!
The excellent eating was really good value for money. I offered a warm welcome. personal very friendly and nothing too annoying. cozy atmosphere. highly recommended. in summer they also have the possibility to have a lateral sitting area garden.
A lovely pub before but even better following recent refurb.
Pleasant evening meal with family. Very tasty hot food served. Waiters friendly and helpful. A place we will return to.
