After visiting the rock houses for a quick drink, we had a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. The restaurant had a good selection of ales and other drinks. Unfortunately, we had brought a picnic so we didn't have room to try the hot pork sandwich for £2.00 (including filling and apple sauce). We saw one coming out of the kitchen on our way out, and it looked huge and delicious. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Crown:
they can not draw a table of 7 on a round table for 4 and a rectangular table of 4 together and hope to gain a positive experience, as mgr they should simply decrease the reservation. eating was good, service was good. but please. please don't auction it when they get to the table. it is not rocket science to remember who ordered what items, making a world of difference to customers! My opinion is that eating in this restaurant is really good, but the service is a little disaster: they are very slow, not very professional. it's a pity because I've eaten the best roasted and French pommes kartoffels I've ever had in my life.
We went to The Crown when they were showing a football game and it looked inviting from the outside. We both ordered fish and chips and they were delicious and served promptly. At £12 for two hearty meals, we couldn't ask for more to complain about.
The Staffs are rude, the pub smells of wet dogs and mold just isn't a nice place. Will never be going back
