Papa John's Pizza - South Staffordshire

Having read some of the reviews, I think some are a bit unfair. Who expects pizza to be delivered at the exact time they say? It 's a logistical nightmare and if it 's 20 minutes late so what? They aren 't just bringing your order! Delivery drivers always friendly, food always hot and well balanced. No complaints, and we have been using for a while. Try tipping the driver who is doing a difficult job and think of him as a human being!

Last year , we moved our Pizza purchasing from Domino 's at Tettenhall to Papa John 's in Codsall their advertising of ' better ingredients , better pizzas ' appealed to us , and initially we were moderately pleased with our move . My wife and I might buy a large pizza every month or so as a treat , but over the last 2 3 orders we have noticed a massive decline in quality , and the perceived value for money is now very poor . The main complaint is the minimal amount of toppings last night our 'Sausage and Pepperoni ' pizza had one small ball crumb of sausage meat , and no more than 2 slivers of Pepperoni per slice . Surely a major chain like Papa John 's set exacting dish specifications for every product so that their staff know what is expected of them , and their customers receive consistently high standards . Currently it looks as if the Codsall customers are being fleeced at the expense of the Papa John 's reputation .

Ordered a BBQ chicken pizza along with two sides. The pizza was not what I ordered not even sure what it was. The bacon and cheese tots had no cheese and three pieces of bacon that covered the 10 tots in the box. The sweet chilli and cheese sticks were nothing more than hard bread covered in some cheese and the whole thing was cold and had to be warmed up in the microwave. Probably the worst pizza that I have ever had. I find it staggering that if you order the same order from Papa Johns at Hafan Y Mor, it could not be more different. The Codsall branch needs to take some tips as we will not be wasting our money again.

Time and time again, this restaurant disappoints by not delivering orders on time. It is currently 6:56 PM and we are still waiting for an order that was supposed to be delivered at 6:30 PM. The most frustrating part is when you call the restaurant to inquire about the delay, they provide false information. I was told at 6:32 PM that the pizza was on its way, however, it still has not arrived half an hour later. This is the third time they have been late with a delivery (if it even arrives) and lied to me on the phone. Moving forward, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Despite this, the pizza is actually quite good when it does eventually show up.

I had a terrible experience at the Codsall branch on 29/6. I ordered a pizza that took over 2 hours to arrive, and when it did, it was cold and thrown into my hand before I could refuse it. I tried to cancel my order after waiting for an hour, but the staff refused. They were rude and even threatened to not bring my order. I escalated the issue to head office, but they have been slow to respond. I received an email 9 hours ago on 18/8 stating that I cannot get a refund. This level of service is appalling - they are quick to take your money but cannot resolve complaints.
