The lunch menu has standard pub meals: Ham egg, chips: sausage; curry; scampi; pies at £7 £8. But there is also an offer for 2 for £12. We had a chicken curry with rice naan, also crispy chicken breast goujons with chips salad. Both were nicely cooked presented good portions. The pub is fantastic, with a wonderful landlady and a professional staff.
This is a fantastic British pub with affordable prices for their great selection of beer. The staff are attentive and even remember your preferences on your subsequent visits. They also offer delicious, budget-friendly food options.
Had a great meal with good traditional pub food, very friendly staff and excellent ales. Shame it was so quiet, an excellent village pub. Hope it survives.
Pub ok locals friendly, but what a rude owner unfriendly landlady ! Poke your up where the sun obviously never shines !
