The chef, Jools, ensures that every dish is cooked to order using locally sourced ingredients, resulting in flavors that tantalize the taste buds. The cozy interior, with its mix of stone and timber, creates a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. While the service may be a bit slow due to Jools handling everything himself, the delicious food and attentive service make it well worth the visit. Despite the limited vegetarian options, the standout dishes like the chicken liver and green peppercorn pate and the scallops on black pudding keep diners coming back for more. The overall experience at Pilgrims Restaurant is intimate, personal, and thoroughly enjoyable, making it a hidden gem worth discovering.
This is a funny little pub. The decor is completely Medieval, from the tapestries on the wall to the stain glassed windows.
I will never forget my wonderful time in Glastonbury and my best friends wedding.
Quite a nice pub in the middle of town really handy for all your sightseeing. Pilgrims still come to Glastonbury Tor
