There were only pizzas on the menu but you can choose exactly which ingredients you want so everything is beautifully fresh. They were some of the best pizzas we have eaten, which includes those bought in well known restaurants. I used to live in merriott and the kings head was my local. when they were reopened, there was nothing vegan on the menu. I talked to the renter and he said it would not be a problem, be sohn was vegan, so there could be options. every time I went after, there was an option labeled with vegan on the special board, even a Sunday roast option. also with good thought and effort, not only salat, veg or the Veggie option without cheese! I always had three or four options and they never made me feel like I was an extra problem. I did not live there for a year, so it is worth knowing if they are vegan when they book, but I recommend a visit!
Our skittles team had a great end of the season dinner in the kings head. nice eating, great service and good value. 11 had a foam night. the steaks were excellent and the banoffee was so delicious.
Have many lunches and have experienced an evening party in the kings in merriott. very nice eating and beautiful welcoming ladies behind the bar, especially debbie, an absolute diamant.
The kings head provided a wonderful spread for a function that was kept in memory of my father. from service to the quality of food I could not recommend it very much.
A meal with our daughter and family was excellent..Thoroughly enjoyed by all...Well done....KC.
