Lovely little converted pub run by a Christian charity as a community tea room/cafe. Lovely staff and very clean and tidy. Nothing amazing but the apple cake was very good. Not a huge selection but recommended if in the area. Benches outside if weather is good. Good prices and impressed by the cleanliness. Tables, chairs and decor all in keeping. Good to see little set ups like this. View all feedback.

The service was excellent and the coffee was great, don't normally get a chance to visit The George as I am working, but on holiday this week so i thought I pop in and have a coffee.
Amazing place. So humbled by the warm welcome from staff, so friendly and helpful. They really do go the extra mile to ensure you have the best time. The babies loved being able to use the space and play with toys. Great community spirit. Highly recommend :
Friendly and welcoming staff, lovely hot chocolate, and a delicious gluten free orange cake.
Poor presentation. Basic quality. Simplicity on steroids
