we were through, starving, so stayed for pub grub. but this was far above every pub eating, it was amazing! the Lebanese salate was full of taste, beautifully presented and a very generous portion. and the baked pizza was so rich in taste and perfectly cooked! delicious. What Ben F doesn't like about King's Arms:
After reading previous reviews, I discovered that the restaurant manager lacked enthusiasm for his job. The roast dinner was disappointing, with only two thin strips of beef. Despite a previous mediocre experience, we decided to give it another try. However, we will not be returning any time soon. The pizza crust was extremely hard. Fantastic evening meal. Excellently cooked food, with a few different elements that made particularly interesting! Particularly pleased with the host who was careful to ensure that we were comfortable, well looked after and enjoying our experience. We sat in the outside area which was lovely in the summer evening, with heaters for warmth as needed.
Really nice we enjoyed our afternoon tea...lovely.views and a really nice garden ..staff very helpful
They sell wonderful own made bread on Saturday mornings, we bought two loaves Delicious!

We had a nice dinner here, but unfortunately it didn't blow us away for the price we expected more. my steak was boiled (very rare) and very fat and chewing. the service was almost a little too good, as we were asked for drinks before we sat down and had the opportunity to watch the menu.
