The decor at the new Publik cafe by the U is bright and sunny, and the staff was friendly. I had high expectations, because the Publik cafe on Ninth South is one of my favorites for breakfast. Big disappointment, though. The waffle was cold and inedible (tasted like what I imagine styrofoam would taste like) and it was served in a little french-fry basket, making it difficult to cut. I drink coffee from Utah Coffee Roasters everyday. I love the consistency and the flavor.
Very pleasant employees. Efficient. Would visit again. Ordered Chai Latte. Very good experience all around
Many times I've smelled the coffee roasting in this area, and it's fantastic. One of the great smells of the world!
This is a really fun place to stop and get a bite to eat and coffee. The food is super fresh and yummy. I would recommend stopping for breakfast or lunch anytime.
