Seven Stars Indian Takeaway

I ordered from this restaurant and the food arrived over an hour late. They had run out of some of the items I ordered, so instead of informing me, they sent whatever they wanted. When I tried to return the incorrect items for a refund, they refused and drove away. I called the manager, who was unhelpful and refused to refund me. The food they did send was disgusting. This is the worst place I have ever ordered from.

When I received the food from the delivery person, I discovered that our cheesy garlic naan was missing. My girlfriend called the restaurant to inquire about the missing item. The woman she spoke to was unapologetic and said they would include it in our next order, but we wanted it with our current meal. She then informed us that they would bring a new one, but it would take 40 minutes. Upon further inspection, we realized that all the food we received was cold. I mean, really cold! We called them again and expressed our dissatisfaction, demanding a full refund. The woman on the phone initially agreed to refund us, but then changed her stance and said it wasn't possible. My girlfriend requested to speak to the manager. The manager got on the phone and was absolutely rude in his tone towards us. He yelled and cursed at us, refusing to refund any of the money and denying that the food was cold. He proceeded to hang up on us after swearing at us. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially when they were clearly in the wrong. All we wanted was the meal we ordered. We attempted to call them back, but they wouldn't answer. We contacted the 'Just Eat' helpline, and they promised to reach out to the restaurant and secure a refund for us. After a wait of about 20 minutes, 'Just Eat' informed us that the restaurant refused to refund us. However, they did give us a £10 voucher for our next order through the app. This gesture was not enough to make up for the £20 we were still out of pocket and the overall dissatisfaction with the food and service we experienced. The restaurant should have been the ones to refund us in full, not 'Just Eat' offering a mere voucher. This establishment should not be allowed to continue with such poor customer service and serving subpar food. 'Just Eat' should reassess their standards and discontinue supporting this takeaway. Despite everything, we decided to eat the food as we had no other options and we were hungry. The salad was wilted and looked far from fresh. The onion bhajis were tough and greasy, oozing oil. Every dish was cold. The chicken tikka masala was overly oily with little chicken pieces in it. And of course, we were missing our beloved cheesy garlic naan. To top it all off, the way the manager spoke to us was completely unacceptable. Unsurprisingly, the next day we both fell ill with stomach pains, nausea, and diarrhea. How can a restaurant get away with serving such poor quality food and treating customers in such a disrespectful manner? We are utterly disgusted by the treatment we received. If you are in the Leyland area and craving Indian cuisine, I highly recommend ordering from either Th'indian on Chapel Brow or Panshi in Croston.

Never been disappointed. nice eating. not sure what their policy is for poppadums and dives as we usually get them, but not always (for the same order). nice staff.
