This restaurant is closed and in terrible condition. I wouldn't be surprised if there were copper pipes missing from the building. It is so bad that even the rats have abandoned the place. The only positive aspect is that it provides convenient overflow parking for electric line crews. View all feedback.
This is the most delapidated shoney’s where I was ever! we went at 8:20 to eat breakfast. the floors were not terminated by the night before. I worked at several shoney’s in knoxville and never let our restaurants come like this! the bathrooms were so outdated the walls were falling apart! the entrance door could hardly be torn open! I would hate to see the old kitchen. such a disappointment. I'm surprised it's still open! Don't do that.
This Shoneys used to be a hot spot66 in growing up in Marion County... now it is nowhere near the family-friendly restaurant it once was, where you could eat good food, have happy birthday sung to you, see the Shoney bear, and have a great family dinner. It has obviously fallen into the wrong hands because the 3 hours I worked in the kitchen I saw the most disgusting floor of any food service industry I have ever seen. Food piled and dropped under the grills and fryers, refrigerated products out past there dates. Awful! I decided to give their breakfast bar one more chance a few months later and it was still as horrible. Waited 20 minutes on our waters, and when we ordered a chocolate milk she told us she forgot to mix up the syrup this morning, so she put HOT fudge and milk together with ice! Food on the bar looked like it had expired 2 hours earlier, and was absolutely inedible. Waited 35 MINUTES on pancakes that came out cold. Don't make the mistake of stepping a foot inside this restaurant'!!!!!
Food bar was only $7 Salad tasted fresh although not that many ingredients mash potatoes tasted instant green beans taste like too many chefs pot roast was greasy pork chop was okay mac and cheese was okay fried chicken was okay Tea was good service was good
Closed for several years now. Doesn't look like it will reopen. Building is falling apart.
It 's closed! It 's rotting away. I would be surprised if there is any copper piping left in the building. It 's so nasty that even the rats have abandoned the place. At best this restaurant makes for good overflow parking for the electrical line crew trucks.
