everything was wonderful; the only small problem we had was one of us who was almost shot on a fish bone that was supposed to be a debeinter filet. we mentioned it to the waiter and all he did was apologise. he could have compensated us a drink or a small discount. other than that, we loved eating, the ambiente, the mood and the service. What User doesn't like about Piccolo South Pasadena:
after the order, our waiter was no longer visible. water glasses were never filled again in the few hours we were. we had to ask someone to ask for a to-go box and the check. lärm was so loud that we had to sit in the middle of the table to hear us. View all feedback.
We had preferred outdoor dining but none was available. We had the crudo, serrano ham, beet salad and orecchiette. We enjoyed the food although the beet salad had a lot of oil. Service was good and clean plates were provided between each course. we enjoyed the Knob Creek Manhattan

The first table that we were placed at was so close to the window, one of our party could not sit down. So we were given a table upstairs with NO ONE around. It was dark and cold. Only after I went downstairs to FIND a server, did we start getting some attention. The food was excellent but attention to table placement needs to be addressed.
Lovely restaurant with attentive staff and delicious food. Will absolutely go back!
Lovely place. Great food. Took a little longer than expected to get our first order in, but then picked up from there. We were seated near front door, and it was quite cold for me. Wish they had just a little more heating.
