La Monarca Bakery - South Pasadena

Been means trying out this bakery, after a long day had to desire some baked goods. So decided to try Postmates some things. I'm glad most articles were pretty good. Danish Mini Concha Confetti Mini Concha Cuernito (Croissant) Trenza Ham, cheese Jalepeno TASTE: This could be the first time I had this Mexican bakery not only from a local Mexican market. So curious was how much better (if any) the quality would be. Bolitas de Dulce (chocolate) was one of my least preferred. Nothing bad though I didn't finish it. It is quite a lot of chocolate icing (w/ sprinkles) on a sweet bungalow. The hare itself was a subtle sweetness that was beautiful because the icing is very sweet. The chocolate icing really tastes like the Sara-Lee or Pillsburry you pick up in food aisles. So if you like this taste, you will enjoy it. The Danish was basically a very good cheese scarf. Very common type of Danish and this is very well done. Cheese has a pleasant taste, not like cheese danish you will find 'll at gas stations. the dough was very fresh. The Mini Concha was a chocolate that was good for me. Bread is good I just didn't love the chocolate taste, seemed a little washed out. Confetti Mini Concha was one of my favorites. It is allegedly confetti birthday cake taste that comes only as a welcoming vanilla taste. Cuernito (Croissant) was a very good croissant. Beautiful flocky texture tasty enough. Trient Ham, Jalepeno cheese comes like a panini ham cheese. I wish it had more Jalepeno. The green salsa was tasty well worked to improve the overall taste. SERVICE, LOCATION, PARKING: No comments about the service, as this was provided by Postmates. But I like her branded bag that came in the food. You are located directly at the corner of the mission St Meridian Ave. If you are lucky, you will find street parking directly on the mission I think there are a few spots on the back of the building. Otherwise you should not find residential parking too far. Additional notes: Some of the bread types have different varieties, but the Postmates app gives you no opportunity to choose one. As for Danish, the app says pineapp, guava cream. I got cheese. All in all, the baked goods worked well when I'm requesting these kinds of candy I'm open to check this place personally.

Nice bakery! I bought a dozen mini-conchas for my son to get to school and they're beautiful and look so delicious. What the cupcakes shop was very organized and clean. Can't wait to come back

This coffee shop is great. They offer cakes, cookies, pancakes, food, coffee, latte, smoothies and more. The bread is soft and has a good layer of sweet topping. The coffee has a slight bitterness to it, but some chocolate and cream helps to make is amazing. Staff are nice and the mood in the shop is comfortable and not rushing. I felt I could take my time, but don't keep a line. Absolutely come back.

Love this place, customer service, was incredible. I chose the wrong one, should have got the trenza con rajas, even so it was delicious.

Excellent taste and quality... the service was 10 stars and loved it. The tres leches latte is amazing. I’ll definitely be back!
