We recently had a very disappointing meal at this restaurant. The food has always been great in the past, but with a new chef, it was terrible! We were sad to have such a negative experience and will not be returning. View all feedback.

Food was very well boiled fresh and homemade all our party of 6 agreed that eating was very nice and well thought out, really nice fresh sweet and well restored, I feel that the cooking level has increased a few cerbs, will be back

Married here ende november and it was amazing. such a beautiful, cozy scheune/ pub perfect for a forest/rustic themen wedding. the gastronomy was practically for the guests to get drinks and relax while the snow was perfect for the ceremony, dinner and evening disco....Lucas was very practical and informative, and was helpful to ensure that everything was in order before the high season. he and the team did not stop worrying to let everything run smoothly on the day itself and make sure that I and mine. would recommend them for a rustic high time for around 60-80 guests! As for eating, it was delicious. the 3-course wedding breakfast was great and everyone commented on how delicious the food was (a starter corn ridge, brisket of bark for net and a brownie chocolate pudding.) in the evening there were also bacon baps and chips that went well down. I and my wife got a frey next morning, which was very hearty and plentiful, and tasted perfect. to also add, my wife and my family visited here a few months before the high season only for dinner one night. again was eating, personal and service raised and the pub was causal and cozy, so it is not only high time glasses for my assessment.
My family has been going to The Crown for walks and lunch for years. It's a picturesque spot with a beautiful sunny terrace in the summer and cozy fires in the winter. Unfortunately, we won't be returning for Sunday lunch. The food was mediocre at best, resembling a school dinner rather than a quality roast. The crackling was chewy, the vegetables were overcooked and mashed, the roast potatoes were undercooked, and the gravy seemed to come from a packet. The lack of home-cooked charm was disappointing. The service, however, was top-notch and very friendly, but it couldn't make up for the subpar meal.
