What Andy Walsh doesn't like about James Figg:
Stopped for lunch on a nice day during the week. Sat outside out the back. The place had a really nice vibe to it. Staff were mostly really friendly except one miserable chef who grunted at me when I said hello. The food was ok. Chips in chicken gravy was amazing. The buffalo chicken wings a bit dry….but my burger was burnt. Bad form that. I bet it was the miserable chef However we had a lovely time purely because the... View all feedback.
Lovely little place to pop in for a decent pint and food. We had the figgs sloppy Jim burger and a double cheese burger, burgers alone were of excellent quality and taste. Definitely worth a try. Service from everyone was great, very warm cosy and friendly atmosphere. Lovely little village shops around too Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5
This restaurant offers a delicious meal in a charming setting. The only improvement needed is to adjust the lighting to dimmers. The service was extremely friendly and prompt. The roast dish was both tasty and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this pub as a great stopover in Oxford. It was a pleasant experience for a Sunday lunch. Thank you. Price per person ranges from £20 to £30. Food and service both rated a 5, while the atmosphere was rated a 4.

£55 for 2 sandwiches and a burger 3 glasses of pop.tiny portions absolute daylight robbery. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
So pub 4 on our crawl down the high street in Thame and my only feedback or criticism would be the prices! A pint of ale and a 0% gin and tonic was £11 which seemed a little excessive. The food menu is extensive but felt the prices were london prices where I live rather that a town ! Dom behind the bar was lovely and really well informed. Overall nice pub all be it a little on the pricy side Service: 5
