We got a take away from here and had a variety of food from poppadoms, chicken pass and and biryani. The pancake kebab and duck in tamarind sauce are a must. Always really good service in the restaurant and getting takeaways. View all feedback.
What retrophoto doesn't like about Duo Chef Chinnor:
Used their website to place an order. Response.said confirmed and collect at 8pm. Got there 5 minutes early. Frantic checking of receipts on the counter. Phone? No, website. Just Eat? No, website. Ah, just let me check will be five minutes. Half an hour later it arrives. So clearly they had missed it. Not even an apology. Two minute drive home and the food was like warm and bahjis were swimming in oil. The bag was so... View all feedback.
We moved to Chinnor recently and this is our closest restaurant so we had to try it. The reviews were a little disappointing but our experience last night (Friday) was excellent. We did not book a table and the waiters were very friendly. The service was very good and prompt, and the food was well presented and excellent quality. Based on this experience we shall certainly be visiting again.
Been here a couple of times. Very clean and a friendly welcome. Nice menu, all the favorites also some modern twists. Popadums, onion bhajis duck starters, mains: duo chicken speacial, chicken pathia, chicken pasanda with rice all washed down with Cobra a bottle of white wine. Food was beautifully presented very tasty. Service was hood. Will be back.
Visited here after not coming for several years. Absolutely wonderful service, great advice on allergies. Really reasonable prices. We had 2 mains, 2 sides, Naan, poppadoms and 3 large alcoholic drinks and it only came to £45. Superb. Cannot wait to go back for the buffet or the banquet evening. Thank you to all the servers… so friendly.
Arrived at 7:30pm, food arrived at 9:30pm, and ended up waiting 20 mins for the bill... be warned. No apologies of course.
After having a few mouthfuls of my main course i bit into what appeared to be either glass or plastic type shards. After quietly pointing this out i was offered a replacement dish, which was accepted. After receiving the bill my friend and i were very surprised to find that we had been charged the full amount with no recompense for our find or apology. After discussion with the manager we were accused of PLANTING these and very begrudgingly given a reduction for half of one dish!! Although unacceptable we paid and left. To our horror outside, there were further unfounded threatening accusations, which has made the whole experience very upsetting and disappointing.
