Thurrock Garden Centre - South Ockendon

Good food, served piping hot. Great choice. Very friendly and helpful staff, which is why we come back. Lovely cakes.reasonably priced too

I have been going to this garden centre for over 30 years. I have been going with my mum sisters and children from when it was a small family run business. Its still a lovely garden centre to go too and the restaurant it fresh and clean and food is lovely. Spend many a happy hour or so over there.

We have frequently visited the garden centre, shopping and eating. The staff are lovely everywhere. We have just had some turfs and top soil delivered. The landscape team were very helpful,as was the delivery driver. Highly recommend a visit. Thanks to you all.

This is not my 1st visit, but it was my first time shopping in the actual garden centre (they do a great Christmas grotto) and honestly I thought it was great. All the plants looked well looked after and sectioning of ever greens, bedding, perinials etc made it super easy to find what I wanted. I was after a white lavender and wasn't disappointed with the great selection of colours and sizes available. I also found my rooting powder easily and found the staff to be very helpful.

Knowledgeable, helpful staff make visiting the garden centre an enjoyable experience. Staff like Ellis helped me to start to understand my design options in a simple but effective way. He took the time to help a complete beginner gardener realise what could be achieved. I'd recommend the garden centre to anyone.
